Our kitchen
Shaped by hand, made for Hamburg
echtasien started in Winterhude in 2011. Since 2019 we have also welcomed guests in Blankenese.
Our sushi master Santosh Kumar Lama and his team roll around 200 sushi rolls a day, each one fresh. Among them are our own creations, such as the Crazy Man Roll with tuna, a little heat and teriyaki sauce.
For special days such as Easter, Valentine's Day or Halloween, we make Special Rolls that are only served then. Both restaurants share the same menu, while each chooses its own lunch and daily recommendation.

From Winterhude to two restaurants
2011
Opening in Winterhude
In 2011, echtasien opens on Alsterdorfer Strasse in Hamburg.
2019
Blankenese joins
Our second restaurant opens on Blankeneser Landstrasse, a few minutes from Blankenese S-Bahn station.
Today
Two restaurants in Hamburg
Both restaurants have a terrace, and evenings are often fully booked. The Hamburg magazine Der Hamburger has featured us in its recommendations.
